Edge processing delivers clean, accurate and burr-free edges for coils, sheets and strips.
Through controlled trimming and deburring, we enhance safety, width consistency and overall edge quality, supporting high-precision forming, stamping and automated production.

Edge Types:
| Edge Type | Description |
| Mill Edge | Original edge from the rolling process; untrimmed, slightly irregular and suitable for general applications. |
| Slit Edge | Produced by slitting; sharp, straight and accurate, commonly used for strips and precision width requirements. |
| Trimmed Edge | Edge is cut on both sides to achieve uniform width and remove irregularities from mill rolling. |
| Deburred Edge | Sharp edges and burrs are removed to improve safety and prevent damage during forming or handling. |
| Rounded Edge | Edges are fully or partially rounded to enhance formability and prevent cracking in deep-drawing or high-precision applications. |
Why Edge Processing Is Important:
- Enhanced Safety
Removes sharp edges and burrs, preventing injuries during handling and downstream manufacturing.
- Improved Dimensional Accuracy
Ensures uniform width and consistent edge geometry for press forming, stamping, welding and automated production lines.
- Better Surface Integrity
Prevents edge cracks, micro-burrs and surface defects from spreading during bending or cutting.
- Reliable Performance
Critical for high-precision applications in automotive, electronics, food equipment and decorative stainless steel products.
